EPConsult Energies has recently completed a study to help Saudi Aramco optimise its fleet of supply, logistics and safety vessels for its large ongoing drilling programmes. The purpose of the study was to improve efficiency and reduce OPEX, without compromising risks. The study identified a number of areas where improvements could be made thereby increasing efficiency and reducing overall costs.

A Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) Review has also been performed for one train of the sulphur recovery facilities at the Petroplus Coryton Refinery. The results of the review are applicable for both trains in the new Tail Gas Unit and any modifications made to the existing Sulphur Recovery Units.
